Spend a creative morning painting a pet with personality.
Saturday 7 November 2026 · 11:00–13:30
Celebrate a much-loved companion with a portrait of your own. Join us for a relaxed art brunch where you’ll work from a photograph to paint a pet, with guidance along the way.
You’ll explore how to simplify your reference, establish the main shapes and proportions, and use colour and brushwork to capture your subject’s character. From the tilt of an ear to a familiar expression, we’ll look for the details that make each animal distinctive.
Whether you’re new to painting or have some experience, this is an opportunity to enjoy a creative morning and make something personal.
What you’ll explore:
Planning your portrait: Choose a composition and identify the main shapes in your photograph.
Animal proportions: Observe how the features relate to one another.
Colour and tone: Use light and dark to give your portrait form.
Fur and markings: Suggest texture through brushwork without painting every hair.
Personality and expression: Focus on the features that make your chosen pet recognisable.
What to bring: A clear photograph of the pet you’d like to paint. Choose an image with good lighting and clearly visible features.
Enjoy brunch, take time to paint and create a portrait of an animal close to your heart.
Please note: your booking is confirmed once payment is completed. The order status will remain Pending until after the workshop, when it is manually marked as fulfilled.
