Clay Characters — Sundays 4 & 11 October 2026

€80.00

Create little characters with personalities of their own with Alvira Ferreira.

Turn a lump of clay into a playful figurine in this relaxed, two-part air-dry clay workshop. Your character could be a person, an animal or an imaginary creature—bring an idea and we’ll explore how to give it shape and expression.

With a 500 g pack of clay each, you’ll learn simple hand-building techniques and experiment with proportions, texture and details. Depending on their size, you may have enough clay to make more than one character. In the first session, we’ll sculpt your creations. They’ll stay at the studio to dry, ready to paint and personalise in the second session.

What to Expect:

  • An introduction to shaping and joining air-dry clay

  • Guidance on building small, stable figurines

  • Playful exploration of features, proportions and personality

  • Freedom to make one character or several smaller ones with your clay

  • A second session to paint and decorate your dried creations

  • Reference images and inspiration available at the studio

  • All materials provided—bring reference images if you have a particular character in mind

Workshop Highlights:

  • Dates: Sunday 4 October 2026—Sculpting; Sunday 11 October 2026—Painting

  • Time: 14:30–17:00 on both dates

  • Location: Lofy’s Place, 25a, rue St Ulric, L-2651 Luxembourg-Grund

  • Materials: 500 g of air-dry clay per person, plus use of tools, paints and brushes

  • Price: €80 per person, including both sessions and materials

Who It’s For:

Open to all levels, including complete beginners. No previous sculpting or painting experience is needed—just curiosity, imagination and a willingness to play.

Small in size. Big on personality.

Please note: We use air-dry clay, not kiln-fired ceramic clay. Finished creations are decorative only—not food-safe or waterproof.

Booking covers both dates, so please ensure you can attend both sessions. Payment confirms your place; your order may still show “Pending” until it is marked fulfilled after the workshop.
